At the edge of the 21st century, the society museums seem to have brought new hope with projects which have been generating a new museological panorama. Although they might be different, the most innovative projects which are developed in these moments are characterized by their interdisciplinary dimension; in the way that the projects are based more on temporary that permanent exhibitions; and in the way they are named after new concepts that involve a multidisciplinary approximation which are simultaneously social, historical, scientific and technological, not only representing the past but also reflecting on the present and its problems.
